Kendra Sheetz San Diego “ghost-punk” quintet Hauntu has released a new music video for their single, “The Knife,” which appears on their forthcoming full-length debut album, The Unknown Reigns. The new album will be released on November 14th via Sell The Heart Records (U.S.) and Engineer Records (U.K.). It will be available on 12″ vinyl, CD, and digital download.
Vocalist Rebecca Antuña shared the following about the new single:
“‘The Knife’ is about humanity and our realization as to the kind of world mankind has created for itself. We find ourselves at a precipice and coming to terms with how we’ve structured and engineered a world built upon so much pain, suffering, oppression, and exploitation. It all comes at a cost and whether we pay that now or later, I think we are all collectively feeling like we are on the verge of finding out sooner rather than later, even if it might feel like a knife to the heart.”
