We’re excited to be premiering a new music video from Toronto’s Northpark for their song “Ink.” The band recently released their debut album, Wasteland, via Wiretap Records. Although the band formed in late 2022, the members come from years of experience, various music talents, genres, and skills which convene to bring this modern pop punk magic.
The band had the following to say about the new single and video:
“‘Ink’ is about a protagonist taking a stand against an antagonist by pushing forward with their life and removing the emotional control the antagonist had over them… In the music video the antagonist is seen watching the band of the protagonist on TV’s to represent how the protagonist revolved his life on what the antagonist thought and said about him. Throughout the video the antagonist is seen being gradually covered by ‘Ink’ symbolizing the gradual loss of emotional control they have over the protagonist the more he moves on and heals.”
