Last week, San Diego’s Western Settings made a pit stop in Chicago on their way to Pouzza Fest in Montreal. The show was one month to the day since I had last seen the band at La Escalera Fest 6 and I was jonesin’ hard. We caught up over pre-show margaritas and beers before we all moseyed over to Subterranean’s downstairs venue.
Locals The End of Music, Oscar Bait, and Dog & Wolf opened the show, which was well attended for a windy Wednesday night in Chicago. The evening was a blur of screen printed camo wallets, Malort, and terrible dancing… mostly on my behalf. The after hours party included Buzzball Shooterz (it’s like 4 Buzzballz in one!) and Tito’s cocktails in whole pineapple cups.
Western Settings is wrapping up a two week tour tonight in Tempe, AZ and tomorrow in Anaheim, CA. Today, they have also taken over the Bad Copy Instagram account. Follow their adventures on our IG and check out the below photos from the May 17th show!
