Kendra Sheetz Earlier in the week, we reported that Avail was back… at least for one show. The Richmond-based band announced that they would reunite for one show (their first in twelve years) to celebrate the their fourth release, Over the James, at The National in Richmond on Friday, July 19th.
Today, tickets went on sale and sold out in minutes (or from the complaints that I saw on my Facebook feed, ONE minute). Similar to Jawbreaker’s reunion shows from only a few years prior, many got lucky but most didn’t.
BUT FEAR NOT! It has been announced that Avail has added a second show on Saturday, July 20th. Tomorrow, those in and around Richmond, VA will be able to purchase tickets directly from the venue. Tickets go on sale at the box office tomorrow at 2 PM and will go on sale worldwide at 5 PM EST. Follow this link tomorrow, grab your tickets, and don’t miss out!
