Kendra Sheetz Boston-based band Girl with a Hawk has released their debut EP today via Rum Bar Records. The album, entitled keep ‘er lit, featured five tracks showcasing the band’s infectious brand of rock and roll. The title is taken from an old Irish expression that loosely translates to “do not stop,” is a reflection of that attitude.
Lead singer Linda Viens had the following to say about the debut album:
“I guess I would say that keep ‘er lit is exploring what it means to not just choose to go on, but to thrive and do right by those that depend on us. It’s about the sheer guts it takes to LIVE, and keep your heart open.”
