Nashville femmecore band The Dreaded Laramie has returned with rage and riffs on their newest single, entitled “Where’s My Crystal Ball?” This new track finds the band undergoing an audio reckoning with a period when circumstances, both national and personal, delivered a 1-2 gut punch to frontwoman MC Cunningham.
She explains:
“I got dumped and Roe v Wade was overturned in the same week, and ‘Where’s My Crystal Ball?’ is the result. It’s a song about being utterly done with it.”
“Where’s My Crystal Ball?” is the final single to be released in anticipation of the group’s debut full-length, Princess Feedback, which arrives on July 5th via Smartpunk Records. The new album heralds a confident shift in attitude which is, in no small part, an outcome of the group’s partnership with Grammy-winning producer Dave Schiffman (PUP, Vampire Weekend, Bayside).
The Dreaded Laramie will be taking Princess Feedback to the American masses this summer on July dates with Pinksqueeze, and August dates with Teens In Trouble and Bat Boy. The band also recently announced that they are joining the lineup up at this year’s FEST.
