Kendra Sheetz Buffalo, NY’s On the Cinder has released a new music video for their song “Soapbox.” The track can be found on their 2016 release entitled The Fight Against Ourselves. Production on the video started in Fall of 2017, but the band has been touring so much that it was placed on the back burner… until today!
The video was produced by Joe Leising, Tom Etu, and Brendan Flake, all of Buffalo’s Jack Hardbody Inc.
Singer/Bassist Mike Jacobs had the following to say about the video:
“The premise is that Tyler, our drummer, is always in the back, no microphone, just hitting stuff without a voice. So we thought it’d be funny to have a video where Tyler takes over and does his own version of fun. It’s stupid and ridiculous but we wanted to do something different for a video, it seems everyone is still just pretending to play live in the woods for some reason.”
