Kendra Sheetz Buffalo, NY’s On The Cinder has released a new music video for their latest single, “Smells Like American Spirit.” The song is the lead track off their upcoming third full-length album Heavy-Handed, which will be released on May 7th via Flower House Records.
The video was shot in the band’s claustrophobic house show space, now retired, though once lovingly known as Noiseland Arcade in Buffalo. The opening line of “Pay Your Five at the Door and Get Down Here” literally refers to the call out to the smokers, camp fire folks, and random solicitors at shows that the next band would be playing soon, inviting all to join in the revelry of a loud party in a tiny basement.
