The night started with an enticing and full room at Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL. The crowd stretched all the way back to the entrance. I was also surprised to see how many people had made it out to this thrilling event. I was very eager to photograph the moments happening that night. The energy in the room was very embracing. I scanned the room, excited for the first band to come on.
Knuckle Puck greeted the crowd with ecstatic energy. Lead singer, Joe Taylor, had the biggest grin on his face. Ready to take on what the crowd would give him. The room screamed with Joe to every song he sang. It was obvious that the people in the crowd were hardcore fans. The band helped warm up the crowd for the classic pop punk band everyone was waiting for.
Four Year Strong entered the room very matter of fact. There was smoke emerging from behind them. Creating an almost sinister effect. The smoke machine was also unexpected but very neat. They had came there to put on an amazing show and that’s just what they did. Each member shared such great chemistry while performing. The way they interacted with the crowd was very captivating as well. In addition, the band was also performing their well known album “Enemy Of The World.” As expected, the crowd was passionately screaming in excitement the entire night. There was constant mosh pits and crowd surfing. I couldn’t help but capture the crowds reactions as well. Overall, the two bands put on fantastic shows.
