Punk Rock Bowling is almost here and we wanted to do something to help celebrate one of the biggest parties in Vegas. So we fired off a lightening interview round with a number of bands who are playing this year’s famous desert festival.
We spoke with Chicago’s own Mystery Actions about all things Vegas. The Midwestern four-piece will be playing the festival’s main stage on Monday the 27th at 3:00PM. So make sure to catch them.
In case you have been deep in hiding for the last six or so months: Punk Rock Bowling begins on Thursday, May 23rd with club shows and the main stage events begin on Saturday, the 25th. The party will continue all through the weekend into Monday, May 27th. Three days passes and single day passes are still on sale now! Have you played PRB before?
This will be our first time playing PRB.
What is the #1 thing you MUST do every time you’re in Vegas?
I would say eat. Haha. Followed by a drink.
What bands are you most excited to see or play alongside on this year’s lineup?
We’re excited to hangout with Lower Class Brats and Deadboys again! There’s a massive list of bands were all excited to see. Super stoked to be playing along side Ravangers; we played with them years ago when the band first started. Looking forward to see Conflict, The Specials, The Stranglers, The Damned, The Undertones, Auxillo, The Coathangers, The Hives, and The Darts once again.
What’s the grossest item to eat from a Vegas buffet?
I don’t think either of us ever had a Vegas Buffet experience.
What’s your ‘go to’ gambling game?
None of us are gamblers actually. Haha. I can see us just sitting in front of the slot machines though.
If your band had a bowling team, what would the team name be?
We wouldn’t know what we would name our bowling team. I guess it’s a “Mystery.” Haha.
