Kendra Sheetz Somewhere deep into 2017, I came across a band who, by my musical standards, is just perfect. Their five track EP, Herb Alert, was fast, aggressive, and fun. Our contributor Erin referred to them as a modern day Lunachicks and I fully support that comparison. At Fest that year, I rallied up everyone I could to go see them play at Loosey’s and I keep checking in to see if they’re heading to Chicago soon. I just have a big ol’ crush on Ellen and the Degenerates!
Well lucky for me (and for you), the band is back with their debut full-length LP entitled Return of the Herb. The album will be officially released on Friday, February 15th and will be available digitally and on cassette via War Fever Recordings. Return of the Herb was recorded and mixed by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios in Fall 2018.
