Kendra Sheetz We’re so stoked to be premiering a brand new single from Athens, Georgia’s Shehehe. The song is entitled “Love Wins” and will be featured on the band’s upcoming album, Namedroppers, which will be released on August 23rd via Say-10 Records.
Namedroppers is a collection of songs about, and therefore inspired by, people; future life partners, folks from our youth and subsequent struggles with adulthood, the musical heroes that we will miss when they’re gone, the radio DJs that play our favorite songs as if just for us, and those who make the music that eternally affects us all.
The band shared the following about the new single:
“‘Love Wins’ is about the first time you meet and hangout with your future partner. Talking, listening to music, stayin’ up all night and eventually driving to the beach and goin for a swim at sunrise that ends with a salty, sweet, wonderful first kiss. The title comes from many late night walks home after working at a bar and passing an apartment window with a sign in it that simply said Love Wins. I loved those words together and it felt good to see them after a long night. It’s a pretty pure rock & roll love song, dig it!”
