Movements, Mannequin Pussy, Soft Cult, & Heart To Gold in Tempe, AZ

Tempe had quite the show the other night at The Marquee. The venue was absolutely packed. Movements played a hell of a headliner set while Mannequin Pussy and the rest of the bill absolutely killed it! The openers, Heart To Gold and Soft Cult, were just perfect. They were sort of a blend of both Movements and MP. I wouldn’t say I’m a “fan” of Movements, but I do really like what I’ve heard, and most of their recent record, RUCKUS! is pretty rad.

The highlight of the night for me though was getting to finally see Mannequin Pussy live. I got into them right around when COVID was popping off, so I obviously couldn’t see them for over a year, and they haven’t really come through Arizona since shows have been back. Getting to photograph them at the same time was a super bonus.
